Derek Boucher holds more than 20 years of professional & creative marketing experience. With an award winning background in fashion and lifestyle branding, Derek injects innovation and creativity with a focus on storytelling and culture shaping.

Derek’s cross functional marketing talents run deep. Prior to founding Salt Salt Marketing, his career was comprised of establishing and facilitating domestic & international marketing programs which included initiatives in creative direction, retail strategy, print campaigns, digital campaigns, artist & influencer partnerships, event production and much more.

With the proliferation of the online marketing landscape, Derek began to shift his branding strategies and skill set into the digital world. This transition started with a deep dive into email marketing followed by a focus on social media management, content curation, website design and more. His bootstrap approach to executing in online environments later became the catalyst for client partnerships and the creation of Salt Sound Marketing.
